I am coming up on one year of working downtown. It has gone quickly. Where have I gotten to?

Me and girls: a veritable comedy of errors. Tonight’s performance was a new low point. I can’t even get into it.

My personal goal in life is to treat the people around me with as much care, love and respect as I can. It’s the only thing that’s ever brought me real satisfaction. If you think I am not working toward that goal you should tell me.

I’ve got a subscription to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra this season and I am going to join the Architecture and Design Society of the Art Institute. Now all I need is my "Junior Snotty Yuppie" card, chunky square glasses, iPod, expensive jeans, Puma sneakers, and shoulder-slung messenger bag (ref). Wait, I already have those things.

Why didn’t I invent YouTube? My parents and their friends asked me at dinner the other night. I didn’t have a very good answer. Maybe you know?
