Things are going well. I’m very drunk. My foot isn’t bothering me despite being on the dance floor. Adam has left to go to bed. And now things with this girl are starting to work. She likes me (tee-hee!). Her hand is non-committaly on my stomach. I guide it up. Girls like that one. At college parties at least. She wants to move or something. I take her hand and spin her. That’s something I’ve been working on since the clubs in Copenhagen. I notice something slightly alarming. I spin her again and look at that left hand. Yes, a diamond. I look at her, "seriously?" She probably couldn’t hear what I said. It’s so fucking loud, I couldn’t even hear her when she was talking next to my ear a minute ago. But she can see what I’m talking about. She smiles sweetly and nods. I laugh and give her a big excited hug. "Congratulations!" I don’t know what that was about. We laugh and stay on the dance floor a bit more. She leaves with her friend. I go outside to try to find a cab. Luckily I still have money. She pulls up with her friend and asks me if I need a ride. Yes, thanks. I’m smashed, I can’t give directions normally, and I don’t know where we are. Eventually we get to 90/94 and I can give directions from there in my sleep. Thanks Rene.
I’ve basically never made a move at a club. I generally go to dance. I generally feel too much pressure to perform. I guess I’m getting over it.
What a night. Stupid foot.
